Jet Ball

Jet Ball is a Breakout-variant very similar to Arkanoid. Using a paddle and a ball, the player has to destroy every last brick on the screen while making sure that the ball doesn't fall down the screen. Not every brick can be destroyed by one hit however. Some even can't be destroyed with the normal ball at all. In these cases the many different power-ups come in handy. They are dropped by destroying special glowing bricks on the board and activated by simply collecting them with the paddle. Besides power-ups like an increased paddle size, an acid ball which goes through everything or the ability to automatically shoot rockets for a short amount of time, there are also non-beneficial ones dropping like instant death or paddle-shrinkage.
