Jewel Quest Mysteries: The Seventh Gate (Collector's Edition)

This is an enhanced version of Jewel Quest Mysteries: The Seventh Gate with some premium content. The game's Premium Content menu cannot be accessed until the completed the first chapter. When it is accessed it is revealed to contain a strategy guide which can be accessed immediately and ten Puzzles & ten Jewel Boards none of which can be played until the main game has been completed, when the main game has been finished only the first puzzle and jewel board are unlocked - completing either of them unlocks the second and so-on.

As with the original the game is divided into timed chapters. Each chapter consists of a series of hidden object locations which can be played in any order though one location may require an inventory item, say a key to unlock a door, before all the objects can be located. Failure to complete all locations within the time limit results in the player having to repeat the chapter. In addition to the hidden objects players must look out for;

• Coins: Three coins purchase one hint for use to find that elusive hidden object
• Jewels: Jewels are needed to purchase aids that make the Jewel Boards easier to complete
• Jewel Board Pieces: All pieces of the board must be found so that the Jewel match game can be played. it must be played before the chapter is complete but it does not have to be played at the end of the chapter, it can be played as soon as all the board pieces have been found. The Jewel Board puzzles get harder as the game progresses and after a couple of failures the game offers the player the opportunity to skip the puzzle though this does forfeit their jewel reward.

At the end of each chapter is a timed, side scrolling, 3D, hidden object game where the player must find twenty objects within two minutes. There is an alleged reward for finding all the items. This puzzle can be played and replayed as often as required, the hidden objects do change on each playthrough.

The game calculates a score at the end of each chapter and maintains a cumulative score as the player progresses
