Jikai Shōnen Met Mag

Jikai Shōnen Met Mag is a 2D puzzle-platformer with a central polarity gimmick. The player's objective is to gather orbs placed throughout a stage before heading to the exit. There are magnetized red and blue blocks in each stage that interact with the player's character in opposite ways, depending on the player's character's polarity. Opposite colors attract, same colors repel. Picking up items change the player's polarity. The player can use the interactions with magnetized blocks to their advantage by boosting jump height or to climb across the ceiling. The game contains 100 stages.

At the start of the game, the player can choose to play as a boy or a girl, which also changes the title screen accordingly. The boy always starts each stage with blue polarity. The girl always starts each stage with red polarity.
