Jumbo Rumble

Jumbo Rumble is a game about elephants challenging each other on a platform. The game is played on a fixed-screen showing a platform with the elephants using a top-down view. The elephants cannot be controlled directly. They constantly rotate in a stationary position at a fixed speed. By pressing and holding down a button the player makes the elephant go forward in the direction it is facing for as long as the button is pressed. As soon as the button is released the elephant starts rotating again.

The game can be played in different game modes: Challenge (collect melons playing along against a time limit), Tag (a game of tag) and Fight (bump other elephants off the platform). There can be up to three elephants on the platform in the Fight and the Tag mode and the two other ones are controlled by the computer. Some versions of the game offer multiplayer, turning it into a party title with three players simultaneously. As only a single button or key press is used up to three players can participate simultaneously in local multiplayer using the same device.
