Just Shoot The Thing!

Just Shoot The Thing! is a shooter game where the player must shoot a moving object (a planet, a clock, etc.; the player can choose the target's appearance freely, or even import a custom graphic from the clipboard.) When shot, the object randomly changes its position on the screen, size and speed.

The player's cannon can be moved left or right, which is important because the target keeps dropping bombs that deplete the player's health if they hit. It's also possible to activate a shield that protects the cannon, but the shield energy is limited. Various bonuses appear during the game, including score bonus and refills of health or shields. After the player's health runs out, he is graded on his score and given a rating such as "pitiful" or "average".
