Ka Kuro Master
Description
Ka Kuro Master is a PC single player, mouse controlled implementation of the logic game that is published in many newspapers alongside Su Doku and Crosswords.
Ka Kuro has been compared to a crossword puzzle with numbers. Instead of letters the player has to put numbers into the grid with two rules;
1 - The numbers entered have to add up to a specified value 2 - A digit can't be used more than once in a calculation.
In this implementation the player has a choice of twenty one schemes which change the colour, background, and way in which the numbers 1 - 9 are arranged beside or around the grid. The game is played by selecting a digit from the game area and dragging it to the appropriate cell on the grid.
The game has four difficulty settings, four sizes of puzzle, and a high score table together with undo, solve, 'pencil mark', show illegal moves, timer, countdown and save features. It also has a comprehensive help file which opens in a new window. The puzzle can also be saved as a .jpg file, with or without the solution.
