This digital adaptation of gunjin shōgi follows traditional gunjin shōgi ruleset (23-piece, 6x8 board, bridges on columns B and E) and features 5 themed sets:

• Field: vegetable pieces, AI opponent is "Devil Halloween".
• Forest: animal pieces, AI opponent is "Wolf Capone".
• City: World War 2-equivalent military pieces, AI opponent is "Supreme Leader Pitler".
• Dohyō: sumo wrestler pieces, AI opponent is "Dosukoi-oyakata".
• Cosmos: spacecraft pieces, AI opponent is "Emperor Piccolo".

To help with players new to gunjin shōgi, the game has an in-game countering reference sheet that adapts to each board theme. This game also has a local multiplayer mode. Due to the nature of gunjin shōgi, the players in this local multiplayer mode are expected to look away from the game while it's the other player's turn.
