Kansen x Shōjo

In the year 21XX, a highly contagious virus appears in Nagisawa New Town, an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. The infected mutate into zombie-like creatures which turn their fangs on the uninfected, mutating most of the local population. Only girls of a certain age are able to avoid infection and survive. After some time, a young man, the protagonist, appears in the city with no memory of how he got there. He teams up with the girls who survived to fight against the zombies and discover the cause of the outbreak.

Kansen x Shōjo is a Japanese role-playing gacha game set in this post-apocalyptic future. In each level, the player must use their team of up to four characters to clear stages of zombies. As enemies attack, the player's units will slowly start to become infected, forcing the player to strategically manage the infection of their units along with their attacks in order to win. If an allied unit becomes fully infected, they will join the enemy side and turn against the player.

New characters can be obtained via a gacha system where virtual or real-world currency can be used to obtain a random selection. Each character has their own special weapons, skills, and unique abilities, and can be leveled up with experience gained from battles. Materials can be used to craft new weapons and armor for characters. The game features various other game modes and has a voice cast consisting of dozens of Japanese voice actors.
