Kasbrik3D

Kasbrik3D is an adaptation of Arkanoid with 3D graphics (although the gameplay remains 2D). It was created as a project for the author's "Games Programming" university studies. As is usual in Arkanoid games, the player must bounce a ball to destroy all bricks to complete the level, and loses a life if the balls falls out the bottom of the screen. Several bonus pick-ups appear during gameplay, including the classic "enlarge paddle", "fast ball" or "extra life". The player receives points for collecting bonuses and breaking bricks. The score received for brick-breaking is higher while the player is under influence of debilitating pickups (such as "shorter paddle".)

During gameplay, the player can exit to the menu screen where the the camera angle and zoom can be freely changed. It's also possible to play the game from the paddle's viewpoint. Various visual effects, such as light cast on the bricks by the glowing ball, can be activated or deactivated in the options menu.
