Kathy Rain 2: Soothsayer

Kathy Rain 2: Soothsayer is a 3rd-person adventure game. Kathy Rain has opened her own private investigator's office, but business is slow, and the bills are piling up. When Lucas stops by and suggests she investigate the Soothsayer murder, Kathy decides to at least give it a shot. The Soothsayer has murdered five people so far, leaving a shattered obsidian mirror behind each time.

The game is an inventory-based adventure game. Kathy Rain can go from location to location, examining and collecting items, as well as talking to people. She carries a notebook, which is useful for jogging the player's memory as to what they should do next, as well as providing potential conversation topics when talking to people.
