KemoFre Fight!: The Kemono of Friends

KemoFre Fight! is a fan-made 2D fighting game based off of the Kemono Friends series. It pits 12 different Friends against each other in fast-moving, combo-heavy fighting. Like in other "anime fighters" or in Marvel vs. Capcom, the focus is on fast, long-runnning combos that can last for a long time in the air; however, it features a streamlined gameplay system. The single normal attack button launches a weak attack, and continuing to tap the button automatically continues the attack string; jump-type characters, like Serval, will even automatically jump after a launcher in order to continue the attack in midair. The secondary attack is a heavy blowback attack that knocks the opponent away; characters can dash after it for the opportunity to follow it up for a combo. Special moves ("Kemono attacks") are performed not with complex motions but simply by holding a single direction and pressing the dedicated Kemono attack button; every character has a throw on back+Kemono, while other moves are unique for every character. Each special move consumes one bar of the Kemono gauge, with characters having a maximum of three in stock at a time; the gauge refills automatically over time, and landing a blowback attack instantly refills it by one. Super moves are also given their own dedicated button instead of a complex input, and can be used when the player fills their super gauge all the way; like the Kemono gauge, it refills automatically over time and fills 1/5 of the way to full every time the player lands a blowback attack.

KemoFre Fight! features three modes: a standard arcade mode versus the CPU, a two-player versus mode, and a training mode. The developers also provide official support for a mod that adds online play.
