Keys of the Wizard

Keys of the Wizard is a fantasy-themed text-adventure with RPG elements.

The player must search through a number of text-based regions to find hidden treasure, which must be returned to their sanctuary. There are a total of 32 treasures for a maximum score of 662. Numerous puzzles stand in the player's way, and all commands are VERB + NOUN entry.

There is a limited combat system. The player has hit points which can be lost in combat. The player can rest outside of combat to regain health, but can be attacked by wandering monsters while sleeping. There are enemies, including a dragon, a cyclops, a troll, a jester, a bat, an orc, and a wizard. These enemies can be defeated in combat, and the player arms themselves with weapons they find in their adventures. As the player gets stronger, they increase in level and gain strength. There are 3 skill levels, which define monster strength, the number of tricks and traps, and how well items are hidden.
