Kick Shot Pool

Game cover: Kick Shot Pool

Description

Kick Shot Pool is a 3D pool simulation. The game can be played against CPU players (available in a variety of skill levels) or human opponents, locally or online – either on a local network or the internet.

There are 5 game modes:* Practice, a single game with no opponent

  • Exhibition, a single one-off game for two players

  • Tournament, that always involve eight players (any combination of human and CPU players) and have three rounds. In each round, each remaining player faces off against another player for a place in the next round, right through to the final.

  • League, that always involve eight players. Each player plays one match against each other opponent, and the player with the most wins at the end of all the matches will win the league.

  • Sharks, for just one human player who will play each of the CPU opponents in turn, starting with the easiest and ending with the hardest.

Any of those modes can be played with the following rules: Eight Ball, Nine Ball, and Straight Pool (also known as '14+1').

The game is controlled mostly with the mouse. The keyboard is used to lock the cue in shot mode, add spin or toggle aim aids.
