Kid Riffs
Description
Kid Riff is an educational game about music. The five lessons, represented by houses on the overhead map, teach the player about various aspects of music. However, they don't work with specific tasks or theoretical explanations. Instead the rooms are set up with various buttons and tools. Those are designed for learning about the topics through experimentation. If a player needs guidance, clicking on the light bulb gives a suggestion what to try next.
The five houses are the Instrument Inn (learning about various musical instruments), Scale Shack (rhythm and scale), Rhythm Room (rhythm), Mirror Mansion (adding variations to musical notes) and Concert Castle (combining everything to create full songs).
