KidsStation: Ojamajo Doremi Dokkan! Maho-dou Eigo Festival
Description
KidsStation: Ojamajo Doremi Dokkan! Maho-dou Eigo Festival is an educational minigame collection based on the "Ojamajo Doremi" anime and is the sequel to KidsStation: Mo-tto! Ojamajo Doremi Maho-dou Smile Party. But unlike the previous game, most of the learning is focused on teaching English words. There are four main options to choose from:
- In Story Mode, the player, controlling Hana, hears simple songs and must clap when the appropriate English word appears on screen. There are six levels in Story Mode, each comprised of three sections. When the player completes a minigame, it becomes available for future play in Game World.
- In the Song Album, the player can choose to replay one of the eight common English children's songs heard in the Story Mode and decide whether the song should be sung by Momoko or Onpu. Momoko sings the songs in their original languages, while Onpu sings a Japanese translation of the same song.
- In the Alphabet Hall, the player picks a letter of the English alphabet, and then Momoko will give up to three words beginning with that letter. After each word, one of the other Ojamajos will make a comment about that word in Japanese.
- In the Doremi Quiz, Momoko and Doremi ask a series of 15 questions about the "Ojamajo Doremi" anime. Momoko gives the question in English and reads the choices in Japanese, and then, after a few moments, Doremi repeats the question in Japanese. If the player is correct, Momoko (and sometimes one of the other Ojamajos) complements the player in both languages; if the player is wrong, Momoko gives a hint in Japanese.
