Klockwerk: The Shadow in the Cathedral

The Shadow in the Cathedral is an Interactive Fiction game from Textfyre, the first game in the Klockwerk Series. The game is set in a fictional world where clocks are the central theme in a religion based on Newtonian devices. The player takes the role of a lowly clock-polisher, Wren, who soon discovers a mystery which compels him to chase the Figure in Gray through the Cathedral of Time.

Shadow allows the player to interact with a wide-range of puzzling, intriguing machines, such as the Difference Engine and Tea Machine. These are simple push button machines. These are complex machines that require careful manipulation by a curious adventurer. The world of Klockwerk resembles rgar of a steampunk adventure.

This is the first episode of a planned trilogy.
