Knock Out

Knock Out is an arcade boxing game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player competes against several different opponents of increasing difficulty in a single round 3 minute boxing match. The player can dodge left or right, and can also throw punches left and right. The view is from directly behind the player, with the player appearing transparent to show the opponent. Every hit that connects with the opponent increases the KO meter, allowing the player to land devastating punches if this is maxed out. The player and opponent also both have a health bar on the left of the screen. If the opponent is knocked down 3 times, or takes devastating hits, they stay down. If the player is knocked down once, it's game over. The player can regain some health by damaging their opponent at a full KO meter. If the player loses a match, it's game over, and must climb the ranking once again.
