KsirK

Description

KsirK is an implementation of the Risk-board game. Up to six players compete on a world map. Each turn armies can be set in own countries and other countries attacked. Attacking a country is implemented with dice throws. Depending on the amount of armies of the attacker, the attacker can throw up to three dices, while the defender throws up to two. The player with one or two of the highest numbers throws wins the duel and an army of the opposite is removed.

The goal of the game can either be set to world domination, in which a single player has to conquer all countries to win. And you can play with missions to clear, e.g. conquer three specific continents or invade a certain amount of countries. Each turn new armies are rewarded based on the amount of countries under the control of the player. Owning all countries of a continent like Europe or Australia, additional armies are rewarded.

KsirK is a very straight implementation, even keeping the dice model and the mission goals from the original game. Up to five players can be controlled by the computer. Multi-player games can either be played in hot-seat mode locally or through a network game. Games can be saved and loaded.
