Ladders

Description
Ladders is a 2 - 4 player board game for the TRS-80.
Players attempt to claim the top position in a board containing ladders labelled 2 - 12. 2 - 4 players roll 2 dice, with the highest number rolling first. Each turn, a player rolls 4 dice. They can take any sum of 2 dice, claiming that position, as well as the sum of the remaining dice's position on the board. The player can claim up to 3 positions on a board in the round. Each dice roll, the player can claim 2 dice, to advance 1 or more of the 3 claimed rows. At any time, a player can choose to stop and save their position in place for future rounds, and transfer game play to the next player. If at any time, a player rolls 4 dice which do not correspond to any of the 3 positions claimed, all movement during that round is lost. If the player chooses to end their turn while they are positioned in the top rung of a ladder, that ladder is claimed for the player for the rest of the game and cannot be used. The first person to claim 3 ladders is the victor.
