Lamento: Beyond the Void

Lamento: -Beyond the Void- is a visual novel that takes place in the fictional world inhabited by Ribika who are depicted like humans with cat characteristics. The world has been overwhelmed by a mysterious void which makes things and animals impossible to touch causing major food shortages. There is also a strange disease spreading around which has killed off a large amount of the female population.

The story follow Konoe, a Ribika living in the small and poor village Karou which has turned to cannibalism to survive. Konoe one day starts to have horrible dreams and black marks appeared on his body, which is believed to be a curse, so he heads off to the big city to try and heal himself.
