Landlord Girls

There is a card game called Dou dizhu, also known as Landlord Poker, it is generally a three player game and it is said to be very popular in China.

In this game the main character is called 'Migratory Bird' and he's a sort of talent spotter for attractive ladies who can play the game and who, generally, are in some form of distress such as crippling debt of one form or another. He persuades them to play on a gambling cruse ship where they can earn lots of money.

Each of the women has a story which unfolds as Migratory Bird entices them aboard. Once on the ship there's usually a card battle which gets progressively harder with each new employee. At the end of the match the women are thankful and make Migratory Bird an offer which, in the unpatched version, he always refuses.

Also in the game are items of clothing, power-ups and magic spells which can be used to increase the damage of playing certain card combinations.
