Lara Gates: The Lost Talisman
Description
Lara Gates: The Lost Talisman is a single player, mouse controlled, hidden object game with an inventory and puzzles to be solved. It has an auto save function, two modes of play and a recharging hint system but there is no strategy guide, no bonus content to unlock, no achievements to earn and no items to collect.
Lara appraises artifacts for a living and her current job of to research a set of ancient talismans for the dean of the local college. Her research shows that the talismans must be kept together, if not a great evil will be unleashed. However Lara knows that the dean has separated them for security reasons so she sets off to warn him arriving to find strange things are afoot. Her task is to locate all the objects, restore order and save the world.
All hidden object scenes are of the same type requiring the player to locate sometimes very small and very well disguised objects within the picture, however there is a rechargeable hint option in casual mode which will locate that elusive final item. After each such puzzle has been completed the player is rewarded with one or two 'useful items' which could be keys to unlock doors and boxes or missing pieces of some mechanism.
