Laser Blast
Description
Laser Blast is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.
The enemy's robot fighters are hot after you, and if they detect you they'll shoot! The player controls a U.F.O. that can move in all directions and fires vertically downwards. Enemy planes approach from the left, and the player tries to shoot them without being hit. If the ship is moving the enemies are more likely to return fire. Every shot temporarily heats the vehicle, and if the ship overheats it can't fire for some time. Every shot also drains the ship's power causing it to lose altitude, and eventually crash into the ground. Each game starts with 3 ships.
