Lasse & Morgan i Sopköping
Description
Lasse & Morgan i Sopköping is an educational game in Swedish, focusing on proper recycling of garbage and environmental care. It was developed for the non-profit 'Håll Sverige Rent' (translates to 'Keep Sweden Tidy') Foundation, within a larger educational project called 'NaturligtVis' which made material for for schools aimed at improving the general attitude towards environmental issues.
The game features two Swedish actors as themselves, trying to improve the environment in the fictional town of Sopköping (The name translates to 'Garbagetown').
The gameplay is a number of mini-game competitions; More Recycling, Shopping Cart Rally, Turbo Compost, A Puzzle of Nutrient Chains, The Drop in the Tap, Electrical Energy Thieves and The Hunt for Batteries.
Each mini-game has a subject description, an optional out-of-game task, and an evaluation after the mini-games completion.
There is also a high-score list for the best results in each game.
The game is made with Macromedia, with Swedish text & speech only, and is partly voiced by the two actors, sometimes bantering in a comedy style. No subtitles are available.
