Learning with the PooYoos: Episode 1

Description

Learning with the PooYoos Episode 1 is, as the title screen states, an educational game «for young kids», especially aimed at those of them who are aged between three and six. The PooYoos have the features and appearance of colourful baby animals: rabbits, pigs, tortoises, pandas, elephants, cats and more; two different levels of interactivity, Young PooYoo and Big PooYoo, meet every children's needs according to age and degree of development.

The main menu, named «whole workshop» since it's as if the game is located in an infancy school, displays the Workshop mode (the main one, comprehensive of magic workshop, music workshop — with many musical instruments played by the PooYoos, while the child is asked to follow the rhythm — and sky workshop), Mini-game mode, Dance mode (getting children to dance), and Present mode.

While approaching numbers, letters and names, kids can familiarize themselves with colours, shapes, musical instruments, different rhythms and sounds, objects like a sunshade, a pinwheel, ... The Present mode aims at developing socialization skills: the PooYoos love gifts, they need help to open giftboxes, and, everytime one is opened, one new of many toys and fantastic treasures will be discovered, like flying balloons, paper boats and other ones.

The game has been designed for children that have not learnt reading. In Europe, the game is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The American version includes texts and voices in English, French, and Spanish.
