Leyte

Leyte is a 1-player war game for multiple systems.

Based upon the Battle of Leyte Gulf during World War II, the player controls American naval forces against the computer-controlled Japanese navy. The player acts as fleet commander, and does not control individual vessels. At any time, the player can check the condition of American ships, but will only be informed when Japanese vessels are sunk. Each turn, the player can choose to fire the guns or torpedoes of their vessels, and each vessel can specify where to focus their weapons. The player can also submit course change directions for their forces. The game finishes when one force is destroyed.
