Little Britain: The Game

Game cover: Little Britain: The Game

Description

Little Britain: The Game is a quiz game for 1-4 teams/players, featuring characters from the British 'Little Britain' TV show. Players will be divided in up to four teams, using four Little Britain characters as identifiers: Lou, Vicky, Daffyd and Emily. The teams take part in eight rounds, randomly chosen out of fifteen available knowledge areas, after which the winner (randomly chosen if a tie) goes on to a timed final round - and if enough points have been gained, the winner will then be treated with a secret special price.

Each round has one or two of the Little Britain TV show characters ask the questions to each team, which can be answered using the DVD players remote control buttons. After each round, the correct answer is shown and points allocated to the teams. There are four possible answers to each question, with only one being correct. Some areas of quizzing are of general knowledge type, others require good familiarity of various British TV shows and British celebrities. The total number of general knowledge questions on the disc is listed as over 1000, though a full game round will only have some 20 questions asked, and all teams will have the same questions in each round.

In the initial rounds, teams can select an answer at their leisure, but in the final round each question must be answered within ten seconds, or it will be failed. In most initial rounds the teams either get zero points for failed answers and one point for a correct answer, but in one round presented by the character 'Anne', a failed answer will result in a minus point.

Each initial round has between 1-3 questions about that specific knowledge area, while the final round, called 'sumfin or nufin', has eight questions.
