Lunar Explorer
Description
Lunar Explorer is a 1-player Lunar Lander clone for the TRS-80.
The goal is to successfully land a lunar probe on the surface of the moon. The player can apply horizontal and vertical thrust on their lander, while gravity continually accelerates the probe towards the planet surface. The goal is to land on a flat area at a speed of less than 15 meters/second with a horizontal speed of 0. The player starts on a zoomed-out screen, but as they approach closer to the surface the terrain and lander appear larger to facilitate landing. The player can determine their starting fuel in increments of 500, and whether to play in light or heavy gravity.
