Lunar Rescue

Lunar Rescue is a 1-player arcade game where the player must safely rescue six stranded survivors on the planet's surface.

The player starts in their orbiting vessel which moves slowly across the top of the screen. The player chooses when to launch and, during descent, moves laterally to avoid asteroids to safely land on a landing pad. The player also has limited fuel to slow their descent to help with avoiding obstacles. The landing pads get smaller and shorter with each landing.

After picking up the survivor, the player must head to the awaiting mothership. They can move laterally and fire forwards, and must avoid or shoot alien vessels that threaten them. After rescuing six people, the game becomes more difficult with faster and more frequent obstacles.
