MacBrickout

MacBrickout is a brick-breaking video game that draws its gameplay from the classic Breakout formula. Players control a paddle at the bottom of the screen and use it to keep a bouncing ball in play while breaking a formation of bricks above. The game comprises 27 levels of increasingly challenging layouts and obstacles.

During gameplay, falling capsules drop from destroyed bricks. Players can collect beneficial items, such as hidden fruits and veggies, while avoiding hazardous ones, like red “X” capsules. MacBrickout also introduces unique gameplay elements — players may control a small creature called the “Umphee”—and encounter special goals, such as filling a treasure chest, avoiding bouncing bubbles, and unlocking a hidden pearl.

The game features over 80 minutes of original music and a range of bonus levels designed to test players’ skills.
