Macross: True Love Song

This is a take on Artland's anime series where humans make use of reverse-engineered alien technology, with ships that transform into mechas to be used for interstellar colonization. In the year 2043, the crew of the Megaroad-04 cruiser is stranded in deep space due to a system malfunction. Valkyrie pilot Reiji takes the task of navigating the cruiser back towards Earth.

The game takes place across a two month time period. On each week, the player schedules Reiji's activities and plays through them one day after the next. The activities consist of socializing in the habitat area, training in space flight, and battling incoming Zentradi forces. As those activities are chosen repeatedly, Reiji's experience and abilities grow at the end of each week. Battles are fought in limited turns, utilizing one of many types of Valkyrie with tactical transformations to suit a current situation. The player's progress and choices determines the ending outcome of the game.
