Mad Genius

Mad Genius is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

The player controls a small square that can move in all directions and fire vertically upwards. An enemy vessel travels laterally across the top of the screen and returns fire only when fired upon. After the player fires, if they move laterally their shot follows them. A randomized maze appears each time the player or enemy is hit which the player can navigate. If the maze is shot by the enemy several times or the player is hit, then the computer gains a point. The player gains a point each time the computer is hit.
