Mage: The Final Journey
Description
Mage: The Final Journey is the third game in the Mage series, part of the larger Wizzy series. It is an action game set in a world with over 60 fixed, single screens linked together. Players guide the character Wizzy who is trapped between two worlds. Thirty minutes are provided to complete the game as Wizzy explores the rooms, avoids enemies and collects keys to open doors elsewhere.
The gameplay is similar to the previous games, but guarded treasure rooms are introduced with special items such as keys and checkpoint saves. The game world is four times as large as the previous game and fully animated double-resolution sprites are used for all graphics. There is also digitized speech using the voice add-in. Highscores can be uploaded on the internet and there is an online rewards system.
