Mahjong

Mahjong is an adaptation of the Mahjong game, where the player must dismantle a board comprised of numerous rectangular tiles by removing pairs of tiles with matching symbols; only visible tiles whose longer side is completely unobstructed can be removed. The game contains numerous board layouts with different numbers of tiles. During play, the player can request a hint to highlight two tiles that can be matched, and if the player runs out of available matches he can ask to reshuffle the remaining tiles.

Three games modes are available. In Classic mode there are no time limitations. In Time Attack mode, the player is trying to complete the board as fast as possible and beat his time record, with time penalties added for using a hint or re-shuffling. In Challenge, there is a time limit for every move, and the player receives score for matching tiles - the faster he does so, the bigger the score bonus; running out of time or available pairs means game over.

In the original Android release, the game was free, but with only Classic mode available and two latter game modes available as an in-app purchase. Currently on the Android and the iOS the game comes in two versions, Full (paid) and Free; both of them have all three game modes, but the Free version displays ad banners during play.
