Description
Maldita Castilla EX is a renovated and extended version of Maldita Castilla. This time, the independent developer Locomalito had the support of Abylight Studios, a videogame developer/publisher from Spain.
It is a homage to the classic '80s action/adventure games like Ghosts 'n Goblins, but inspired by and set in European folklore and cavalry novels. It features the same graphics and art style of the '80s, but with improved resolution and polished details to be played in modern platforms.
You, as Spanish knight Don Ramiro, must move to the right, killing enemies as you go. Along the way, you encounter treasure chests that will help you. At certain points, you must defeat a boss to advance. You are trying to get through all the bosses to find and defeat the source of all this evil plaguing Castile.
