Mandragore

Mandragore is a 1-player side-scrolling arcade game for the Dragon 32/64.

The player controls Mandragore, a highly advanced exploration robot. During a routine investigation of an ancient pyramid, the robot inadvertently triggers the pyramid's self defense system.

A side-scrolling isometric game, the player can control the robot along the floor of the pyramid's hallways. The robot can fire directly forwards to defeat enemies, and must contend with lazer firing ants, mummies, ghosts, trapped eagles, and large mutant aardvarks. The player must also avoid ramballs and pyramids that can destroy the robot. On each floor the player must defeat a pyramid sentinel, which fires from the walls towards the player. The player must complete all five levels of the pyramid, and then contend with a second more difficult level.
