Maniac Mower
Description
Maniac Mower is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro and Electron.
After being out of work since leaving school, the player found a job for a park grasscutter. It won't be an easy job, because there's mad mower on the loose in the park out to get the player.
The player and their computer opponent move their lawn mower in the cardinal directions on a large field of grass. The player starts with five lives, and loses a life if they hit a wall, one of the many dangers that appear on the field, or the opposing lawnmower. The player receives £1 for every piece of grass mowed. There are nine levels of difficulty. If the player manages to capture and destroy the renegade mower they receive £30.
