Description
Match It!: A Competitive Word-Matching Game is a 1 - 2 player card matching game for the Apple II.
Played on a 4 x 4 gird, the player attempts to match synonyms or antonyms by flipping cards. Players have a limited time to select their two cards, or else they lose points. Each board contains two wildcards, which can be matched with any card, or with themselves for bonus points. At the beginning of each turn, the player has the opportunity to try to double their score. They gain more points with a correct match, but stand to lose points if they make a mistake. A computer opponent competes on 1-player games.
