Mercury Abbey

Mercury Abbey is an adventure game with anthropomorphic animals as characters. The protagonist, Harold Graywool (species: wolf), is an author of adventure novels suffering from a creative block. Unexpectedly he receives a free invitation to a sanatorium known as Mercury Abbey. Together with his nephew Willie (species: wolf-dog hybrid), left under his care as his sister and brother-in-law, who is a diplomat, go on an important journey, he decides to go to the sanatorium and try to regain his creativity. Already on the way he learns about eerie legends surrounding the place, and after arriving, not everything is as it seems: nobody seems to be expecting their arrival, and when they finally manage to find a member of the staff and confirm that they are at the right place, it soon turns out that more seems to be going on. With a backstory formed of both legends about dark secrets, and a criminal plot, Harold and Willie need to investigate what has happened and is happening under the surface.

The game is mostly keyboard-controlled: protagonists walk directly around the environment and interact with objects (players who have a controller can also use it). The game also includes countless mini-games.
