Merger 3D

In the year 2048 humanity is faced with bio-terrorism. As part of a special unit of mercenaries you have to close down the rampant project "Confluence".

Merger 3D is a first-person shooter, done in the style of Wolfenstein 3D clones of the early 90's, complete with right-angled walls and untextured ceilings and floors. You have to battle through 15 stages of bio-soldiers and mutant monsters in order to save the world. Along the way you will amass an arsenal ranging from pistols and machineguns through shotguns, rocket launchers, plasma rifles.

In the old-school vein, you will have to manage your health and ammo. Ammo pickups will grant ten rounds to whichever weapon you have equipped currently. Running out of health means game over, but you can save at any time to restore later.

This game is an updated release of Synthes 3D, which was previously released as freeware for a short time before it was pulled and turned into this commercial release. There is re-balancing with weapons and enemies appearing at different times, as well as some music changes.
