Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP (included games)

Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP is an add-on product for the Microsoft Windows XP operating system (OS) that includes additional desktop themes, screen savers, programs, and utilities. In addition to that, Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP contains a number of games. As these games are not available stand-alone, they are considered part of a compilation:

• Hyperbowl Plus! Edition

• The Labyrinth Plus! Edition

• Russian Square Plus! Edition

• Hyperbowl Plus! Edition

A limited version of HyperBowl Arcade Edition. It is a bowling simulation in a 3D environment with 2 of the themed backdrops from the original game: Classic and Pins of Rome. Players can play traditional games of bowling or elect to guide the bowling ball through obstacle courses with curving walkways and traps.

• The Labyrinth Plus! Edition

A 3D maze game in which a ball must be guided through a series of channels and simulates a tabletop game with the same premise. The gameplay field is shaped like a wooden box with pathways bordered by raised edges. The table must be turned and tilted in order to guide the ball in the correct directions and avoid holes. If the ball drops into a hole, the level must be restarted from the beginning. The game features 40 levels, 12 different mazes, 12 different balls, and special bonus targets to increase score.

• Russian Square Plus! Edition

A 3D Tetris-like puzzle game. Erase lines or columns by regrouping shapes of the same color. More columns or rows appear at a faster pace as the game progresses resulting in a race against the clock.

All of the games use 3D graphics, themes, sound effects and music to take advantage of the operating system's DirectX capabilities.
