Midnight Mysteries: Witches of Abraham

Midnight Mysteries: Witches of Abraham marks the fifth in the series that continues the role of a paranormal investigator helping iconic figures from the past. As before in the Midnight Mysteries series it takes historical events and creates a derivative storyline. You might have guessed from the title this one centers on the 16th President of the United States Abraham Lincoln. The goal will be to help Lincoln track down treasure and the Knights of the Golden Circle (KGC).

The KGC was a secret society that promoted the Confederate US slave states south of the Mason-Dixon Line to secede from the Union that Lincoln was determined to save. During the timeline it was thought the leaders of the KGC inner circle were witches and had accumulated a great fortune of gold. Lincoln also needs your help to track down two leaders from the past. William Quantrill a hit-and-run outlaw of the Confederate south and another legendary hit-and-run bank robber Jesse James.

The player interface and game mechanics provide a hybrid approach of graphical adventure with on-screen movement touch points, puzzles and traditional hidden-object-style gameplay. Objects collected in inventory at the bottom of the screen require the player to drop or drag them onto other items in the scenes to activate or complete needed tasks for progression.
