Mind Puzzles

Mind Puzzles is a series of two educational games for the Apple II.

• Mazes of Rodentia: The player has entered into a contest to become a Knight of the Royal Order of Camembert, the highest honor in the Land of Rodentia. The player's job is to navigate a maze with passageways leading between rooms in the fewest number of turns possible. There are 7 levels of maze difficulty, and 250 possible combinations for each level. The player can choose aid during their navigation, including: a set of directions, muddy boots which track previous movement, a ball of string to unroll, chalk to write on the walls, or no aid at all.
• Queen Bee of Menta: The people who inhabit the Kingdom of Menta have extraordinary mental powers. The secret is Menta's Magical Honey. Each day a new field of magical flowers grows and blooms some place in the kingdom, and the Queen Bee and her scouts must perform a ritual which directs the worker bees to the flower field. Through trial and error, the player must determine the ritual which shows the type of flower containing the nectar, the flight pattern to find the flowers, the formation the nectar gatherers must keep, and the sound by their flowers.
