Mission: Impossible Arcade
Description
Mission: Impossible Arcade is an arcade on-rails shooter. It is a loose adaptation of the Mission: Impossible film franchise, featuring original characters and scenarios inspired by the series' themes of espionage, sabotage, and high-tech action. While it draws narrative and aesthetic elements from the films, it does not include direct representations of characters or actors from the movies.
Players take on the role of elite IMF (Impossible Mission Force) agents tasked with preventing a global catastrophe. The central mission involves stopping a shadowy organization from weaponizing advanced humanoid robots. Players use a variety of weapons and gadgets across nine action-packed stages, with gameplay focused on fast-paced shooting sequences and cinematic set pieces. Supporting up to four players, there are two teams: Team Reco (red) and Team Beta (blue). Each team competes to reach the end of the level, with a gauge at the top to demonstrate how far ahead or behind each team is.
Designed as a "Super Deluxe Attraction," the four-player arcade unit resembles an IMF safe house, complete with themed interior details and a replica of the franchise's iconic fuse. There are dual pistol controllers, surround sound audio, integrated subwoofers, and bass shakers that provide physical feedback during gameplay. The game utilizes two 55-inch Full HD screens.
