Mission - XP2
Description
Mission - XP2 is a science fiction text adventure for the BBC Micro and Electron.
Mission - XP2 was an exploratory survey of a distant galaxy, made necessary by the non-return of Mission - XP1. Having completed all the tasks assigned to them, the crew enter their suspended animation chambers for the return journey. The player awakens expecting to see the familiar sight of Earth on the viewscreen. Instead, they find that the crew are all dead and the ship is orbiting a planet many light years from Earth. The player must discover the means to return to Earth, or Mission - XP3 will be needed to ensure the player gets a proper burial.
All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and there is a save/restore feature.
