Momodora

Momodora is a free, indie 2D platform game and the first entry in the Momodora trilogy. The player controls a small orphan girl named Isadora, who wants to resurrect her mother. The gameplay is quite similar to Cave Story, but with less exploration - Isadora goes to caves only with a knife for close combat, and later she can find other weapons (such as a gun) to fight enemies. The caves are full of spikes and other obstacles. The game has eight stages.
