Monopolization

Monopolization is an online multiplayer financial and business strategy game that is based off an earlier tabletop game of the same name. Players take charge of a company where they move around cities in Wisconsin and conduct business, such as buying and managing properties and trading shares in companies. Some properties are able to earn revenue from other players or NPCs landing on them, while others can gain revenue by supplying others. This means that it is often beneficial for companies to establish a supply chain, or else they will have to pay another company for any missing links. Companies can set prices for their products within the range the law allows. Players can travel to Madison to influence minimum and maximum prices for different types of properties. A player's game ends after 1 hour. Score is determined by their net worth, and is added to their points from previous sessions.
