Monsters Lair

Monsters Lair is a 1-player roleplaying game for the TRS-80.

The player creates a starting character from statistics of strength, constitution, intelligence, dexterity, wisdom, charisma, hit points, character level, unadjusted armor class, and magical AC bonuses. The player leaves their starting area, and can explore numerous rooms in a large dungeon level. In each room is a randomly generated opponent. The player automatically exchanges blows when close to the enemy. The player can continue to battle until the enemy is defeated, or run away. The player can return to the starting point at any time to regain vitality or retire their character for a final score.
