Mootix Drop

Mootix Drop is an action game from the Neopets virtual pet website. From a top-down perspective, the player controls Harry, the bug-like Mootix, with the mission to drop down from the ceiling of a room and execute a parachute landing on the back of an unsuspecting housepet. Arrow keys can be used to control Harry in mid-air; each level requires Harry to fly through several rings suspended in mid-air, then, once the parachute is deployed, land precisely on one of the (sometimes moving) targets. Harry's movement is characterized by inertia, which becomes especially large once he deploys his parachute. While still falling, Harry can quickly move from one side of the screen to the other by executing a barrel roll, requiring a quick double-tap of the left or right key.

Score is received for each ring passed through, more so for passing perfectly through the center. Landing on a target multiplies the score, with larger multipliers for landing more closely to the middle of the target.

There are two modes, Missions and Single Drop. In Missions, Harry has to complete a series of challenges; each requires the player to pass through a specified minimum number of rings and land successfully. Completing all the missions unlocks a higher difficulty level. Completing a mission also unlocks it in the Single Drop mode, where the player is challenged to try and land on each of the targets (while passing through all the rings on the way.)
