Mothership

This game is quite similar to Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom, but it's more focused on blasting. You control a ship from a Behind view, blasting oncoming enemies. Once you have destroyed a certain amount of enemies you move on to the next stage. You start off on the surface of a planet and then move on into space on the later stages.
